The Public’s Voice
As part of the Israeli government’s interest is public opinions, it created a portal for the public to respond to governmental issues and vote on state affairs.
The portal includes descriptions of impending government regulations and the public can vote on the matter or make suggestions for it.
Many people in Israel enter the portal every day and participate in the poles and discussions. A government team reads the comments, gives feedback to the people and then sends their conclusions to the government. This gives the public a real voice in the final decisions the government makes.
This way the Israeli citizens are actually involved in the governmental processes and decisions and it makes our democracy even stronger.
