Through a pure and clean election process, most of the students in my school – ORT Dafna (in Kiryat Bialik, Israel) chose me (Julian) and my good friend and classmate Lee to be the chairpersons of the student council at our school.

The huge fire, which destroyed the Carmel Mountain, recently took the lives of 43 people.

Among the dead was a 16 year old teenager, Elad Riven. Elad, who was a volunteer at the Haifa fire department, joined the fire fighters in an attempt to put out the fire. He was caught in the flames and lost his life.
