After the storm a 2000 year-old Roman-era statue of a woman was discovered in Ashkelon. The statue was found in front of the Holiday Hotel by the Antiquities Authority. Parts of the statue were damaged during the storm.
Comics In Israel
Most people think that comics are only made to make people laugh. However, they don’t understand how powerful comics can be. A critical cartoon can achieve much more than a long and detailed article on a controversial issue. It can change and affect people’s thoughts and positions in life. Comics are a kind of art in which the characters are drawn in a sequence of events. They are often referred to as the Ninth Art.

The Israeli Embassy in Madrid issued a statement Wednesday protesting the display at the International Art Fair in the Spanish capital.

Dany Mizrachi is an Israeli fashion designer. That sounds like a normal person, but trust me – he’s not. He had recently opened his own ready-to-wear clothes store in Atlanta.
Insects Exhibition
When you think about art, you don’t really think about insects, fire or sharks. This article is one of three articles about three new different art shows in Israel. They have different creators and they are shown in different locations, but they are all wonderful examples of Israeli art.
