The Festigal show comes up with a new theme every year. Every Hanukkah, the creator, Miki Peled, surprises us with something new.
This year, the production of the Festigal has cost more than three hundred thousand dollars. Every year, there are over one hundred performances.
The Festigal started in 1980. Last year they celebrated its thirtieth year. The theme that year was World History. Every year, the Festigal hosts a famous Israeli singer. Last year it was Rita – a top Israeli singer with Persian roots.
This year, the Festigal was about Technology in the world and particularly in Israel. Israel is part of the technologically developed world. The theme of the Festigal this year was the addiction to Facebook and Iphone. They take the kids watching the shows into adventures of a computer game.
