A Little About Yom Kippur

NOA Y ORT RABIN On January - 21 - 2011

Yom Kippur occurs on the Hebrew month called Tishrei (around September).

The Jewish people atone for their sins and wrongdoings for the past year and forgive each other.

The Jewish people also fast one day to suffer and do soul-searching on that day. There are a few prohibitions for Yom Kippur: fasting (no eating or drinking), no work, no regular every-day tasks, no driving, etc.

I hope all Jewish people had an easy fast this year.
