My name is Yonatan and I take part in a special group that called Sayarut (scouting).
Sayarut was established in the 70′ by the friends of Ori Mimon, who was killed on Yom Kippur War. He was in the scouts and loved travelling in Israel.
The group has now more than 20,000 students all over Israel. We all travel all over the country and enjoy the beautiful views of Israel, just like Ori Mimon liked to do.
We meet once a week and study about nature in general and about Israel in particular.
Once a month we go on a 2-day trip, in which we hike and cook our own food. During the holidays we go to a 4-day camp with other groups and sleep under the night’s sky. In the last camp we walked 60 kilometers from the Hevron Mountain to the Dead Sea.
It’s really fun to see all those beautiful views of Israel and meet a lot of new friends.
