A new Israeli development for treatment of flu had just got patented in the Australian patent office. This new medicine is based on a technology that was developed by a crew of researchers lead by Prof. Yaron Ilan from Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem and the University of Melbourne in Australia.

Goldstone’s Regret
Recently, Judge Richard Goldstone had recanted his former conclusions, which he had published in the Goldstone report regarding Operation Cast Lead in Gaza. He now admits that he had falsely accused Israel of targeting civilians in Gaza.
2011 At the Oscars
The Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2011 was awarded to Natalie Portman for her performance in black Swan. Another Oscar for the Best Short Documentary went to “Strangers No More” by Karen Goodman and Kirk Simon, which is a movie about the Rogozin School in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Israelis at the Paris Fashion Week
In the middle of February 2011, Paris Fashion Week was opened and it seemed that there was no need to know French to get by – the language of fashion was enough. Four Israeli designers: Ehud Joseph, Yigal Azrouel, Arzi Yifrach and Albert Elbaz were among the stars of this amazing event.
