35 year-old Kobi got sick with the flu last year and it turned into pneumonia, which hurt his heart. After he had a pacemaker implant he was able to function in about a fifth of his natural ability.
Kobi was one of the first people to have an implant of a new pacemaker called Optimizer, which increased his heart’s function in about 12 percent.
The innovative pacemaker was invented by the Israeli company Impulse Dynamics. The procedure was done in Kaplan hospital in Rehovot and was previously tested in Germany and in the USA.
I wish Kobi good health and am happy to see such an amazing medical development made by Israelis.
