The Arab world is going crazy.
There are revolutions everywhere and all of them are trying to demolish the dictatorships and achieve a democratic government.
In Egypt hundreds of thousands of demonstrators have made their president lose his job.
In Tunisia one man set fire to himself in front of government offices, which was also the beginning of a huge revolution that called for a change in government authority.
And the list continues…
In Libya demonstrators were basically massacred. In Bahrain, Iran, Syria, Jordan and Morocco thousands of demonstrators are walking in the streets asking for peace.
And what about here in Israel?
Well, Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Even if we have problems, at least we’re allowed to talk about it and express our opposition peacefully and without fear.
Israel is a world center for technology and tourism, especially in the Middle East.
We do hope for peace and quiet, but our comfort is at least that our democracy is functional and we are all free.
