Insects Exhibition
When you think about art, you don’t really think about insects, fire or sharks. This article is one of three articles about three new different art shows in Israel. They have different creators and they are shown in different locations, but they are all wonderful examples of Israeli art.
Bezalel
Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design is located in Jerusalem. It is named after the Biblical figure Bezalel, son of Uri, who was appointed by Moses to oversee the design and construction of the Exodus.
Menashe Kadishman
Menashe Kashidman is an Israeli painter and sculptor. He was born in Tel Aviv in 1932.
In his youth, Kadishman worked as a shepherd in the Kibbutz.
Kadishman was influenced by this experience with nature and began drawing sheep.

This Land is Ours
A few years ago, the Gaza Strip was evacuated. Ariel Sharon, Israel’s former Prime Minister, strove to achieve peace with the Palestinian terrorists, but to no avail. Today, the Palestinians claim that the Golan Heights (the land east of the Kinneret) belongs to them and that we must return it to them. In my opinion, we should not surrender the area to the Palestinians for a few reasons:
