On November 22 2008, the comedians and actors Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett-Smith landed in Israel to promote their new movie – Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. They all went to Netanya’s Globus Maz Theater for an official premiere of the movie. It was very exciting to host a premiere with these celebrities in Israel.

Paranormal Activity
Paranormal Activity is a horror film directed by Oren Peli, a 39 year-old games designer from Israel. The movie is about a young couple, Katie and Micah, who are having problems sleeping at night because of some weird and scary noises and shadows.
Drama Club
I take part in the drama club of my school ORT Afek. We had classes on the 7th grade but started performing shows during the 8th and 9th grades. Last year the drama club had a production of A Chorus Line.
Humor
Humor is an excellent way to distract us from our daily troubles and problems. The Arab-Israeli conflict had been growing more difficult in the past few years, but some people are trying to bridge the gaps through art and humor.

The creator of the series Everybody Loves Raymond, Phil Rosenthal, visited Israel in early December 2009. The visit was as part of a fundraising campaign for children in the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

This month, the Kiryat Bialik community theater performed a new show called Hanachshol, based Morton Rhue’s novel The Wave.
