Even during the Arab-Israeli conflict, some areas in Israel are a great example for Arab Israeli coexistence.

In my hometown, Tivon, and in other cities in Israel, Israelis and Arabs live together in peace.

With no fights or struggles, those wonderful cities seem to be disconnected from our world and make us wonder if maybe, just maybe, some day we will all live together in peace.

The amazing combination of the Israeli prayers and the voice of the Muezzin create a spirit of kindness and calmness, which is so much needed in our reality.

When I was in the fourth grade, my school had a special program to connect Israelis and Arabs from the same city. The program was a great success, we learned about their lives and they learned about ours, and we realized that even if we’re not the same, we are very similar… both in our opinions and in the way we live our lives.

When the program ended, I knew lots of new things about those kids, who are so similar to us but yet so different.
